I'd prefer to switch to Korea's hangul.
- latentsea 2y agoThe F word would all of a sudden lose it's punch. Puck the pucking puckers.
- grishka 2y agoWhat about the existing word "puck", as in hockey puck?
- latentsea 2y ago"copy" would also become ambiguous with coffee :)
- localfirst 2y agoi was thinking about this for a long time but some sort of indicator, maybe an accent or symbol to indicate the F sound this would radically expand the number of pronouncable words in Korean. with the goal being able to describe phonetically as accurately as possible any spoke word in human history. Scandinavian languages need not apply. There should be no alphabet that describes the sound of spitting.
