You're mistaking me arguing normative vs. positive. Those voters support those things because they are not forced to bear the costs.
- shiroiushi 2y agoThat's how it is with everything. Running a government involves taxing, and directing funds from one place to another; something is always going to be subsidized at the expense of something else (or debt). America's voters prefer to subsidize roads and highways for their personal cars.
