- flembat 2y agoI am very glad I don't live somewhere where AC is needed for survival. I do think that AC is a bad solution, home's should be designed with small windows, thick walls, tiled floors, insulated roofs that provide overhanging shade and so on.
- RecycledEle 2y agoSmall windows are one option. Multiple panes of glass with air gaps inbetween so there is insulation are another option. I hope that regulators will look to R-value equivalents and not to how they think those R-values should be achieved. I am curious, what does tile floor do to help insulate a home? I would have expected carpet to insulate better.
