- preisschild 2y agoAs long as Biden wins the election, they won't. Because the US will defend Taiwan.
- BeefWellington 2y agoThe real problem is, any disruption of Taiwan and China's ability to produce and sell semiconductors right now is going to have wide ranging impacts on the economy. If you thought prices were high during pandemic shortages, strap in. It's probably not a coincidence that as soon as the US starts spending billions to onshore semiconductor production, China begins a fresh round of more concrete saber-rattling. (Yes, there's likely other factors too.)
