The Art of War can really be applied to any domain or thing you want to do. It's beautiful in that it's specific and general at the same time. I once had a guy tell me to read it in high school when I was trying to win back a girl. It worked. You can apply The Art of War to anything that involves competition. I don't know about anyone else but for me I think a lot of the success I've had in applying what's in the book to my life can't be totally attributed to just applying the advice in and of itself. For me, part of my success in its application most likely came from feeling more confident and like you knew some sort of secret ancient wisdom that someone else didn't know. Reading through it and thinking of applying it to your own situation really will have that confidence boosting effect I think.
