They are seeing that Apple, Samsung etc. are releasing yearly upgrades and they want to do the same.
- dcchambers 2y agoI don't know if it's the case any more, but historically consoles themselves were often loss leaders for video game companies and they turned a profit on accessories and games. If that's still the case, doesn't make sense for them to want to sell upgrades every year.
