Not a big fan of Aldi. I shop there occasionally (in the NL, rarely in Germany). They're cheap. Food items are okay in general, but no favourites among those that other supermarkets don't carry. Non-food items? (the 'durable' kind, not toilet paper, cleaning products etc). Been burned a couple times too many. Won't touch again unless (expected) junk is all I need. That said: I do like the "grab items out of shipping box" concept. Who needs neatly arranged (unpacked) items on shelves when all it does is add personnel & associated cost?
