Actual title: CVE-2016-6187 - Linux Kernel Exploit
Title should end in "(2016)". Author may want to explain why this ancient exploit is being posted here, otherwise it's just another kernel exploit in the sea of kernel exploits.
- ____milo 2y agoWell, AFAICS, there is no publicly available exploit that actually escalates privs. Sure, there is a PoC by Vitaly Nikolenko, but it does not include a payload. Of course, the CVE is not relevant anymore. But you might still learn from the past. And if not, well then its yet another kernel exploit in the sea of kernel exploits I guess :)
- Dunedan 2y agoThe link code seems to be from 2024, so no need for a "(2016)".
