Sharing my personal single data point experience, in the hope it helps others. I started low carb then keto about 5 months ago when my migraines turned chronic (a few times a week). I haven't had a migraine in the past 3.5 months. Also lost weight and generally feel great.
I was following the advice in this book: https://www.amazon.com/Migraine-Miracle-Sugar-Free-Gluten-Free-Inflammation/dp/1608828751?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=3f8b1721-4818-432d-956c-06e0f3ffc207 https://www.amazon.com/Migraine-Miracle-Sugar-Free-Gluten-Fr...
- unstatusthequo 2y agoSame. I have been low carb for years, but at one point, I decoded to go full actual ketogenic. I never remember being more productive and focused than in true ketosis. Note that getting there is something you need to test for. I did blood drop tests at home with a device to measure ketone levels. Also recommend some materials from Tim Ferris on this topic including the Dom D’Agostino part of Tools of Titans and I think some podcasts on the topic.
