- jonahbenton 2y agoOf course. Her own perspective is her own. But that wasn't that piece. That piece was her trying to tell a larger story. In doing so, she started from her own quite significant ignorance and tried to infer from that a larger story. There is little value in that progression. In talking with other young folks I see echoes of her misunderstandings. A lot of this is the tool vs oracle discussion. I think there are significant risks where young folks see LLMs as oracles, where they really are better understood as tools. However, many young people don't have the experience to make that distinction.
