Smartphone Camera Sensors: OmniVision, Samsung Isocell and Sony Exmor (2022)
- paweladamczuk 2y agoAnyone else gets redirected to their other language's version of the site, with the language switcher showing only that language and Ukrainian? The Polish version even has its own domain: https://e-katalog.pl/post/3485/122-matricy-kamer-smartfonov-omnivision-samsung-isocell-i-sony-exmor/ https://e-katalog.pl/post/3485/122-matricy-kamer-smartfonov-... I haven't seen a site behave this way before. Maybe it's clever from the SEO standpoint?
- kozak 2y agoInterestingly, I'm Ukrainian and my preferred language (as configured in my browser) is of course Ukrainian, but it kept me on the English version.
- TeMPOraL 2y agoGoing by the footer on the Polish version (To which I was instantly redirected), this is the same company operating multiple domains.
- parl_match 2y agoIs this machine translated? There's odd switching of gender, or is there a connotation of gender assigned to various companies?
- dylan604 2y agoquite possible noting the other comments about URL redirection based on language settings. it was weird enough that I stopped reading it even though it seems like it's something I would be interested in otherwise
- Scene_Cast2 2y agoI got the feeling that this is machine-generated, as the last part of the article goes off rails (talks about a phone instead, and doesn't finish talking about the camera sensors).
- ranger_danger 2y agoI noticed several red flags that made me believe it is machine generated, but I won't reveal them for fear of training some ML on it.
