If you have suggestions for compiler optimizations, I'm all ears! Currently thinking SSA but I maybe could be convinced to try CPS. Wondering if either inherently limits different classes of optimizations

Consider block arguments instead of phi nodes. That makes the correspondence between a function and a basic block especially clear.
