    Of course not. But the title might be slightly misleading and not tolerating inaccuracy is best for everyone concerned in the long run.

    If the number of slaves is growing more slowly than the population, slavery is on the decline as a cultural institution, even if the absolute number of slaves is increasing. I would feel good about that.
