Show HN: A Firefox extension which removes subreddit styles on Old Reddit
- politelemon 2y agoLooking at the style being removed here : https://github.com/chriswales95/Old-Reddit-Destyler/blob/main/content.js https://github.com/chriswales95/Old-Reddit-Destyler/blob/mai... Could this just be done via a ublock origin filter?
- cwales95 2y agoLikely yes but not everyone knows how (thinking the non-tech people here) and plus I think it’s nice just to be able to grab a quick extension and be done with it.
- zzo38computer 2y agoI don't know, but I looked at that code and made a userscript and that works. I am glad that it is there because I don't like to use the different style for each one
- Saris 2y agoI thought this was just a setting in your user settings?
- cwales95 2y agoIt is if you have an account. I browse Reddit anonymously and I wanted to get rid of the subreddit styles — hence why I put this together quickly.
