They are currently pointless to buy at any price due to the collapse at this point. Eg. a common problem is the key fob stops working and you can't get into the car. Without any company behind the car how to you get this fixed? It'd be really nice if documentation+code for these was made public but this likely won't happen so you can't buy one of these even as a hacking hobby.

> you can't buy one of these even as a hacking hobby I'll pay $100 for your massive paperweight. Maybe I'll figure it out, maybe I won't, but the potential of getting a car like that for a price like that is definitely worth the $100 + towing fees to me.
