It cost me $490.00 to file my taxes with H&R Block this year. I can't use free software.

- itake 2y agoI didn’t check last year but free tax USA didn’t support importing stock trades. I didn’t wanna have to input every single trade I made.
- glii 2y agoIf cost basis was reported to the IRS by your brokerage, you can typically just report the summary total, since the IRS already knows about the individual trades.
- itake 2y agoI receive and sell RSUs, which I don't think the cost basis is reported. I also have ~3 brokerages with 2-3 accounts each.
- ashconnor 2y agoForm 1116, Form 8938, didn't support state adjustments (dividends in foreign pension accounts), FBAR etc.
