Now that the new tech shine is fading from the cloud and companies are grappling with higher interest and operating costs, maybe we'll see more of an effort towards efficiency. On the other hand, who am I kidding. Engineering and business leaders are far more likely to push the focus towards AI solutions and other shiny trends, regardless of how effective they are.
