Some feedback:
- the app should make it more clear when it’s doing something and prevent me from clicking the same thing multiple times while loading (e.g. adding location)
- the sign in flow is broken when using a temporary account and then signing in with Apple
- make it more clear how pair ups work
- ajcatton 2y agoThanks for trying it out.. that's all super useful. Location adding: I noticed the same thing today, too, and will make that UX more obvious with a spinner.. Sign-in: I'll see if I can reproduce that problem. Clarity around pair-ups: are you wondering how it figures out who to suggest to you, etc? the mechanics of being connected? (it's typical mutual opt-in mechanics fwiw) or what happens after that? I suppose it could be any of these but I'd love to know what was unclear. Thanks again!
- _lvbh 2y ago> Clarity around pair-ups Yeah just have a FAQ or something on the site to make it more obvious how pairings are made. I went around trying to find a discovery system but it seems it’s just automagically done via some algorithm?
- ajcatton 2y agoGot it, yeah. I can add something. At present, you can think of the matching as being based on "the amount of overlap in what each person's links are generally about" (using LLMs/text encodings).
