I don't think it's that people don't care, it's that the hurdles of traveling feel high when you have no experience. How do I plan logistics, like flights, hotels, transportation, and activities? How do I get around when I don't speak the language at all? And, of course, how can I afford this trip for my family, reaching a balance between comfort and cost? Sure, anyone can learn to do these things, but it's definitely intimidating to do it the first time.
