- ssgelm 2y agoIt's worth noting that many of the linked "alternatives" either use stripe themselves or require you to bring your own payment processor.
- MyFedora 2y agoMaybe I don't understand the context here, but Stripe doesn't have a monopoly on payment processing. Stripe flat out rejects cards from a few countries. Companies that serve Europeans can't use Stripe since they fall under US surveillance laws, which are fundamentally incompatible with the GDPR. So there generally are plenty of payment processors to choose from.
