Your most precious resource is time. I'm really glad of the time I invested in Python, node, TypeScript, Virtualisation and Serverless. I'm less happy about the time I wasted on bash, DOOM WADs, and Desktop Linux. Yes these are are all a while ago. I didn't invest my time wisely when I was young. I'm also glad I didn't invest in GraphQL, Kubernetes, Angular, Solaris, and perl.
