It seems like these LLMs are 1) extremely expensive to develop, and 2) extremely difficult to actually monetize. No one but Nvidia actually seems to be making money.
- mistrial9 2y agono that is not true -- there is quite a lot of money changing hands, and has been for several years. Much of that research content is "sensitive" and closely guarded. Public news tends to just talk about splashy generative, media-oriented items.
