- smt88 2y agoCounterpoint: you can't separate technology, especially powerful/influential products like OpenAI's, without talking about their governance. The ethics of OpenAI directly affect my career and life. They affect the future elections, art, my dad's pension fund, and many other things I care about. Discussing Altman as person helps us understand what he might do with is near-complete control over the ethics of OpenAI.
