I really appreciate how the change log is structured as “$category: $short-desc”.
It takes a lot of discipline to have all tickets & commits titled this way. But it makes reading a change log so much easier to parse as a human.
- mholt 2y agoI will make sure our CI maintainers see this comment! They have poured much effort into making our release process smooth and digestible.
- francislavoie 2y agoThanks for noticing! I try to enforce that on all the PRs, it makes it a lot easier to categorize and sort things in the release notes. I didn't come up with the idea though, it was a team effort (shoutout to Mohammed who helped set up a lot of our release processes)
