Wondering, is the resulting coffee thick because a certain amount of the grounds are pulverized enough to pass the filter? Would be interesting to centrifuge some and see if that's the case. Anyway, might not actually be an issue, given people's tolerance for odd coffee. (Don't think about elephants!)
