My guess it's LinkedIn scrapping. A lot of companies do that, a lot of their CEOs have accounts here as well. Its shamefull as they just figure out what the company uses for their email format and just spam that, plus yourname.surname at gmail.com and so on... It happens to me very often on every company I am at, even days after LinkedIn status change. Saddest part is that my worst offenders were very cool tech companies I found here and considered as suppliers, but their amateur privacy attitude is unacceptable in my field.
