IOS is such an annoying OS and people should stop buying iPhones until the EU opens it up. Walled gardens might seem nice at first glance but as a developer, they are a nightmare. I’ve been building a proxy/VPN thing for a non-technical friend just for them to use (no other users) but they use an iPhone. My developer account expired a while back and now I can’t even use TestFlight to allow them to download the app normally. Thankfully they have a Mac which means they can self sign/side load via XCode but I’ll need to guide them through the process which isn’t exactly easy (click this, click that, wait 40 minutes for it to download, etc)
