We went from having pre-answering services that you had to wade through huge decision trees to get to a real person. Now people seem to think chat bots are SO MUCH better? All we did was replace one horrible technology for another technology that does the same thing. Its not better, its not getting better and layering LLM's and AI on top of an already bad technology isn't the answer.
