- peutetre 2y ago> “Do what you can, while you can, before you get sued,” Mr. Gross said at the February session, according to a recording of the event made by a participant and examined by The New York Times. “Review any marketing materials or other communications that you’ve had with your customers, with your suppliers, see whether there’s anything in those documents that’s problematic to your defense,” he said. “Weed out people and find the right witness to represent your company.” How about they simply take responsibility for what they have done. They've poisoned the planet with PFAS. If those companies go bankrupt, if executives go to jail then that is a correct outcome. If they simply get away with it then that's no good for anyone. 3M has effectively got away with it. They'll only be paying $10.3 billion over 13 years. That's a drop in the ocean compared to what it's going to cost to clean up the PFAS in the environment, and that's before you start counting the health impacts and costs. PFAS is everywhere and in everything.
