It doesn't matter how good the artist thinks his painting is if others think that anyone can do it better, cheaper and faster with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
At the end the developers will have to find a profession that will feed'em because the industry considers creating software isn't a high valuable asset of their programmers anymore.
