That sample seems quite a bit more opaque than glass
- Miraltar 2y agoIt diffuses the light so the background gets blurry, but the light is more efficiently transmitted
- the8472 2y agoTransmittance or translucency would be a better choice of words.
- simiones 2y agoYes, the right word would have been that it's a translucent material, not a transparent one. The paper makes this confusion as well, though they do sometimes call it "translucent" too.
