- bell-cot 2y agoSo? Gov space contracts are a rather small % of launches in SpaceX's market (roughly, the world minus China & Russia & their close friends). SpaceX does have a monopoly on crewed launch within that market. And - outside of a few low-volume, low-payload providers - a monopoly on reliable launch capability. (Vs. "if you could wait a few years, maybe BO will give us a couple engines, so we can build a rocket for your payload..." crap.)
