This is just as bad of a concept as it was the last time it was posted to HN and got almost no upvotes. The Apple Watch just doesn’t work as a standalone device thanks to Apple’s completely unreasonable API limitations. Fun fact: exactly zero of Apple’s built in apps could be built using publicly available WatchOS APIs.
