We need the FCC to say its a requirement for 2028 or some such year
- tsimionescu 2y agoYou do realize that the FCC doesn't have jurisdiction over pretty big parts of the Internet?
- mikl 2y agoSure, but what happens in the U.S. part of the Internet tends to set the tone for the rest. A U.S. mandate would do a lot to swing things in the right direction, and many other countries would likely follow along and pass similar mandates.
- photonbeam 2y agoEven if its just “all US residential services have ipv6 by 2028” fixes a lot of the chicken and egg
