My "Have fun!" was genuine, I had a lot of fun learning about this stuff despite not pursuing a PhD in cosmology. Anton Petrov covers this specific topic in a few videos, as well as other large structures, and it's truly fascinating. The rest was probably a bit uncalled for, you're right.
