Show HN: I built a random meal plan generator to help my wife
Hi HN!
I built this tool for my wife to save her the headache of meal planning. She finds it helpful and I think you might too.
Please check it out and let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!
- atmanactive 2y agoNeat idea, keep up the good work. One crucial missing feature for me would be to automatically API-transfer the list of ingredients to my online shopping provider. If I have to keep open two lists on my screen and manually add all the ingredients into my shopping cart, then, that's a no go for me. Here in the UK, there are online services like https://www.gousto.co.uk https://www.gousto.co.uk which provide the whole package: meal plan, recipes and the selected ingredients, all neatly delivered to your door.
- frontyengineer 2y agoThanks! That's a great idea; adding the ingredients to a shopping cart would definitely make it more helpful to users. Thanks for your feedback, I'll look into this feature.

- coopykins 2y agoVery nice, Im working on something similar: https://getweeklio.com https://getweeklio.com I like the overview of the plan with the ingredients each meal will take. Good job!
- frontyengineer 2y agoThanks! Your app looks great too. Looks like we were both inspired by the same desire to make meal planning easier at home. Hope your app is a success!
