How would you address systemic poverty?
- nextaccountic 2y agoIf this were a top priority for the whole society? Well this one is easy: UBI. My own country has a good experience with income transfer (Brazil, Bolsa Família) even it being so little money.
- curtisblaine 2y agoWouldn't UBI alone - I mean full UBI, the one where you get basic income in addition to any other income - just cause the market to work around it, ie rent now costs $normal_rent + UBI, mortgage rates now take into account the UBI base etc? Normally, when I hear "just UBI", if I dig a bit, it means "just UBI plus a huge list of radical social reforms that would change drastically the face of economy".
