Show HN: I'm trying to make Notion a better alternative to Zotero
I have to constantly read papers for work. So I created a Chrome extension called "Academic Notion" that can scrape the information of papers I plan to read from websites like arXiv and Google Scholar, and upload them to my Notion reading list database.
I hope one day it can make Notion a competitive alternative to Zotero and Mendeley.
However, I'm not an academic. I only need to read papers and take some notes. I don't need to write any paper. And most of the time, arXiv is enough for me. Therefore, I'm not sure what additional features I should add to the extension to make tools like Zotero unnecessary.
For those of you using Notion to manage your paper reading list, what features would you find most helpful? What research paper websites do you want the extension to support? (It currently only supports arXiv, Google Scholar and Science Direct)
