right, I'm 100% on board with that, but there's a sizeable population of voters whose jobs would be disrupted that are very against it, so their representatives like Manchin are against it.
- bee_rider 2y agoAnd they are attached to those particular jobs unfortunately. I don’t get it at all. I mean, who would want to work in a coal mine? I’d think the change of coal mine worker to solar panel maintainence would be a massive QoL improvement. Go around outside. Get some sun and fresh air. But I guess we can’t tell people how they want to work.
