Ask HN: Secure ways to transmit a WiFi password via Bluetooth
For this scenario, imagine having an Android app that needs to send a WiFi password via Bluetooth.
Any secure way to do this without someone being able to intercept it?
- stop50 2y agoDiffie-hellman key exchange and then encrypting it with the generated key?
- 999900000999 2y agoCouldn't someone just capture the key too ? Amazon definitely does this with Kindle tablets, I'd love to see a code snippet.
- stop50 2y agoThey can capture tge communication but there is no math that can be used to decrypt it. The only way is bruteforcing it. for the rsa diffie hellman you need a few kilobyte for the keys and communication, but its easy to implement.

- stop50 2y agoJust go to wikipedia or search it.
