To me it seems like « not enough » somehow. €35 million is peanuts to a trillion dollar company. They are just going to end up doing a risk-cost analysis and decide to take their chance not obeying the framework. GDPR fines scale up way more in my understanding. EDIT: Strike that! I’m just bad at reading comprehension.

It is higher: "[...] up to €35 million ($38 million) or 7% of a company’s annual global revenue, whichever is higher. "
