What interesting personal projects or side projects are you building this weekend?
- ElCapitanMarkla 2y agoA couple of months ago I brought a cabin on a trailer which is to become my home office in the backyard. I managed to get it off the trailer and onto some skids yesterday. This weekends job is digging a trench for a network cable from the house.
- vghjjig 2y ago[dead]
- mattl 2y agoGetting away from the computer and working on some analog hobbies. I have a bunch of Warhammer models to put together and then paint.
- hknws2023saio 2y agoNice! I used to paint a bunch of D&D figurines until last year.
- mattl 2y agoI’ve been collecting on and off for the last 35 years. I have a pretty sizable collection at this point. It’s very relaxing once you make time for it. Treating it like work would ruin it for me.
- meiraleal 2y agoI'm creating a UI Kit and blocks using Lit with the help of Claude 3 Opus. It is a lot of work but using code generation it is going quite fast.
- ccbikai 2y agoI have been coding for 24 days straight, and I'm ready to take a break
- talldayo 2y agoBuilding ffmpeg-full right now, I suspect it will take until monday.
- rubicon33 2y agoMight make some more progress on my VisionOS app! Was a little disappointed by the API restrictions and so I took a break for a while.
- rezolva 2y agoI am building a advanced file manager for Windows as a side project. Its a file manager in the style of Orthodox File Managers (Total commander, Directory Opus etc) The file manager is natively powered by the Everything indexer by Voidtools and as a result of that it is possible to create virtual folders of querys (smart folders) and instant folder sizes. I have also added support for tags and custom description of file items. - syndicatedjelly 2y agoBuilding a drag-and-drop interface for a Django app. I'm hoping I can use the HTML5 drag-and-drop API, it seems to fit the limited use case I have. Anyone having experiencing using the API? What was your experience like?
- purple-leafy 2y agoTaking a break this weekend. But I have been building a chrome extension template that handles email link authentication, stripe subscriptions, NoSQL storage, and cloud functions as the pseudo-backend. Once this is complete (~1.5 months), I’m using the template to build an extension that I will be turning into a SaaS, and also entering into the Google AI competition
