So was it partly a software error that the engines were put into a fault state after boostback, then they'd not try to restart on landing?
- zardo 2y agoNot necessarily wrong to not try to relight them. Maybe it should have started the landing burn earlier, or maybe there was no saving it with six O2 starved engines.
- cbhl 2y agoIf the engines only have enough fuel to do the boostback burn once, they could be "disabled" in a hardware sense too?
