I'm excited for all these epaper devices for use on my sailboat.
Everyone uses tablets + Navionics, but glass tablets absolutely suck in bright daylight. It will be nice to find an ePaper device that I trust enough to use for charts.
- siralonso 2y agoDitto, except in my glider! I would appreciate a slightly smaller form factor, though - the cockpit in the Libelle is a bit... tight.
- jval43 2y agoA 2000 nits bright iPhone is perfectly usable outside in bright sunlight. The brightest iPad (iPad Pro) is currently 1000 nits. Not quite there yet, but I'm sure the next generations will only improve.
