I'm in my 50's and just started taking 18mg Concerta/methylphenidate in the last 2 weeks. It's still super early for me to judge. I have noticed that it's much easier for me to procrastinate and avoid work (now I have much less guilt!). But the "working periods" are better. I do seem to get more stuff done when I can actually make myself do it.
