To be fair, Ron Paul called the events correctly nearly a decade before the invasion. Ukraine is just a sacrificial lamb in preserving US hegemony by weakening Russia and of course, a classic laundering operation for the MIC.
I think Kissinger put it best: “It may be dangerous to be an enemy of America, but it is fatal to be a friend.”

- yetihehe 2y agoGiving Ukraine enough weapons to keep fighting, but not enough to win fast is not a very friendly move. This way Ukrainians are bleeding away instead of just winning. A little sacrificial for me. But yeah, alternative of Ukrainians just surrendering is not viable for them. They've seen what Poland and other post-soviet republics achieved after kicking out Russians and want that for themselves too.
