OMG these are just a bunch of random facts, and 'learning facts' seems to be the focus of the article. Who cares? Education is not about facts but about building capability. Kids should be taught fundamental facts of course (atoms, place numbers, etc), but really, ways of thinking, systems, techniques, ways to approach problems and find answers, etc.
