One thing I'm surprised that no-one mentions is the fact that, at least in Europe, buyers aren't stupid. They hear the news coming out from China about 1000km range EVs at decent prices, and they're waiting for the improved battery tech which everyone knows is coming. CATL and BYD are already shipping some cool battery tech right now, and it's only getting better. And unfortunately Tesla isn't a battery company.
