I actually messaged him in a good will on LinkedIn in a sense: "hello, I made a nice little pomodoro timer, do you like it?" and I hoped he might share it with his community. Instead I got a reply to take it down otherwise his lawyers will be getting in touch. It's all free, I don't make any money out of it.
- perilunar 2y agoIt's especially obnoxious because he doesn't own the word, or the concept of a pomodoro timer itself, just has a trademark on the method. There's plenty of other online timers with pomodoro in the name or URL.
