Isn't the valuation geared towards making investors whole instead of the actual value of a company? I thought this was standard in the VC world.
- alangibson 2y agoValuation is essentially what the last investors are willing to pay for a 'share' of the company multiplied by total shares. They may be throwing a hail mary and trying to get it all back from sucker tho.
